Synopsis

FACE THE FACE PART 3 While reviewing Harvey Bullock's photos, Batman realizes that whomever killed KGBeast and Magpie used the same weapon: a double-barreled pistol originally manufactured by Two Face. Later, Harvey Dent watches Batman and Robin fight The Mad Hatter, and realize that their motions are perfectly in sync, as Batman's once was with Dick Grayson. He wonders if Gotham City still has a place for him, and the reflection of Two Face insists that it does, to which Harvey replies "No." Elsewhere in Gotham, The Ventriloquist is gunned down by the mysterious assailant, who damages Scarface. THE CRIME FILES OF JASON BARD Jason Bard wakes up next to Mrs. Buckmaster, a widow who had hired the detective to find her husband's killer. Jason senses someone is in the apartment, and Batman arrives to offer him a job. He puts Jason on retainer so that the investigator can work by day as Batman works by night. Jason reveals that Mrs. Buckmaster killed her husband and hired Jason as a smokescreen, and accepts Batman's offer as Batman takes her to the police.
